ABOUT MOODY
Hi, I'm Louise.
I started Moody in Melbourne in 2018.
Back then it was called Moody Activewear and operated as a social enterprise, donating 100% of profits to women's mental health charities. Inspired by my mum's experience with mental health challenges, I wanted to create something that could make a small difference in the lives of other women.
Since then, life has taken me on quite a journey.
I've become a mum of two, lived in both Australia and Ireland, closed a business, started again, and learned a lot along the way.
One of those lessons? That donating 100% of your profits, while incredibly meaningful, isn't exactly a scalable business model.
So after closing Moody Activewear, I took everything I had learned and created Moody Collective.
Because while the business has evolved, the reason behind it hasn't.
I've always believed women deserve support.
Over the years, that belief has grown beyond mental health alone. I've learned that women carry so much more than most people ever see...the school drop-offs, the work deadlines, the family responsibilities, the changing seasons of life, and the endless mental load that comes with trying to hold it all together.
That's why Moody Collective exists today.
It is my mission to create thoughtfully designed throw-on-and-go pieces that help women feel held together on the days they're holding everything else together.
Comfortable. Flattering. Easy to wear.
Made for coffee runs, workdays, walks, weekends, school pick-ups and everything in between.
Born in Melbourne, relaunched in Ireland, and now back home again, Moody is built for real women living real lives.
Whatever chapter you're in, I'm so glad you're here.
